These images on the last page of Der Deutsche beobachter accompanied an article on the front page of the same edition which announced the passing of Mark Twain. The image on the top is titled "Mark Twain", the one on the bottom "Mrs. Ossip Gabrilowitsch, Mark Twain's daughter and only child".
