The members of the American Church organized an excursion to the Grunewald, where they organized all kinds of games and listened to music. Then followed fireworks and dinner. In attendance as guests were Clergymen Fullerton of Georgetown, Williams of Chicago, Chase of Asbury Park; Prof. Chase and Brown of Andover and Gay of Harvard. The American Medical Association [of Berlin] dined at the “Englisches Haus,” and “Mark Twain” delivered a humorous dinner speech. The members of the American legation had been invited by Secretary, Coleman, to dine at the “Kaiserhof”. In attendance were Envoy Phelps, J. B.
