Vorläufig freilich ist er nur als Uebersetzer deutscher Stücke in's Englische aufgetreten. Schon vor einiger Zeit hatte er die Absicht ausgesprochen, ein Stück, das er in Wien gesehen und das ihm außerordentlich gefallen, für die englische Bühne zu bearbeiten, kam aber mit seinem Plane zu spät. Nunmehr hat er sich an mehrere Stücke auf einmal gemacht: Philipp Langmann's „Bartel Turaser“, Ernst Gettke's und Alexander Engels' „Im Fegefeuer“, - daß er auch ein Lustspiel von Blumenthal und Kadelburg übersetzen will, haben wir schon erwähnt.</td>
