<td>Betreffs einer gestern Nachmittag hier veröffentlichten Nachricht, daß Mark Twain in London gänzlich verarmt und dem Tode nahe sei, wird aus London berichtet, daß Samuel L. Clemens (Mark Twain) augenblicklich in Chelsea mit einem neuen humoristischen Werke beschäftigt und daß sein Gesundheitszustand ein vortrefflicher ist. Er bewegt sich, heißt es weiter, in angenehmen Verhältnissen und lebt und wohnt nicht allein bequem, sondern thatsächlich luxuriös.</td>
