Clemens) mitgetheilt und werden darin belehrt, daß das Trinkwasser „bekanntlich vom Connecticut-River nach New York gebracht wird“ - Wir hatten bisher immer in dem Wahne gestanden, daß das Trinkwasser in New York aus dem Croton-Fluß stamme und daß davon der Name Croton-Wasserleitung stamme. Man sieht, wie der Mensch sich irren kann.</td>
