<td>Ein Jüngling, der sich durch reine Wäsche, Bescheidenheit und sehr methodisches Verfahren in allen seinen Unternehmungen auszeichnete, ging auf Freiersfüßen. Er hatte zuweilen eine junge Dame Sonntags Abends von der Kirche heim begleitet und dann noch einen kleinen Imbiß bei ihr im Hause genommen. Am letzten Sonntag, nachdem sich das Elternpaar diskret zurückgezogen, sagte er plötzlich zu ihr:</td>
<td>A young man who distinguished himself by his clean linens, his modesty, and by his very methodical aproach to all his undertakings, was looking for a wife. He had sometimes accompanied a young lady home from church on Sunday evenings and then had taken a little repast at her house. On the last Sunday, after the parents had discreetly withdrawn, he suddenly said to her:</td>
